  • The most common side effects are mild and include nausea, bloating, or fatigue—especially when starting treatment. These usually decrease as your body adjusts. Our team is here to help you manage any side effects and adjust your treatment plan if needed.

  • It’s a small, subcutaneous injection (like an insulin shot) typically given once a week in the abdomen, thigh, or arm. You can administer it at home, or we can assist in-clinic.

    • Semaglutide: Usually starts at 0.25 mg and can be increased gradually to 1 or 2 mg

    • Tirzepatide: Begins at 2.5 mg, with increases based on results and provider guidance
